Grown in vineyards closest to the coast, benefiting from the constant marine currents in typically schist and limestone soils, Vermentino Doc Riviera Ligure di Ponente from Frantoio San Martino brings to the table the delicate spring and Provencal aromas of our coastlines: freshly cut grass, citrus, fresh fruit, and a salty finish.
Hand-picked grapes in the first half of September during the coolest hours undergo gentle whole-cluster pressing and are vinified in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Maturation for 6 months in steel and further refinement for 1 month in the bottle. It expresses its best within the first 2 years from the harvest.
